Current Focus
Municipalities currently face a wide range of challenges. Sherry is focused on understanding and responding to what is required, providing effective and practical solutions. None of us as all the answers but together we can do this.
Housing
We need to ensure we have a range of housing options in Cramahe tailored to meet a variety of family sizes and needs. Municipalities can help with zoning and the provision of land. All levels of government must be engaged.
We need A New Funding Deal
Municipalities in Ontario are struggling to pay for things that property tax was never meant to cover. Municipalities need a New Funding Deal with the Province to help with all the downloaded services.
Sustainable Agriculture
Extreme weather events are happening more regularly. The trade war has added immense pressure to food security. Farmers need to be part of the solution. It's time for serious dialogue.
